Stone Canyon’s residents are lucky to have some of the best views in the area. It’s an active neighborhood with plenty of opportunities to hike and cycle. It’s also a tight-knit community with a community center that hosts nightly happy hours.

Seis Kitchen features the beloved street food flavors of Mexico in a colorful dining room. At The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, steak and seafood is served as part of a classic menu with incredible cocktails and a casual dining experience. If you want to be entertained while enjoying your food and drink, Noble Hops is a fun local bar with a great happy hour and live music on Wednesday and Sunday evenings.

Casas Adobes Plaza is a majestic shopping destination. Whether you’re looking for new wardrobe staples, a special piece of jewelry, or going grocery shopping, you can find what you’re looking for here. It also has businesses such as a plastic surgeon and lifestyle events such as pilates classes and an OrangeTheory Fitness.

THINGS TO DO

Stone Canyon has no shortage of lush nature to enjoy, whether you’re going to a music festival, playing golf or enjoying the endless miles of hiking trails.

Tohono Chul is an incredible botanical garden full of desert flowers, a hummingbird garden, and a peaceful wooded streamside garden, just to name a few. It hosts events to help connect visitors to nature, and there are several galleries and a bistro that add extra layers of inspiration to this beautiful spot. Catalina State Park sits at the base of the Catalina Mountains and is home to camping, geocaching, and a trail system that winds through nearly 5,000 saguaro cacti.

The Stone Canyon Club plays host to the star-studded Celebrity Golf Tournament. Oro Valley Music Festival is the biggest music festival in Southern Arizona, featuring huge musical acts over the span of a weekend. A pillar of the Stone Canyon community is the Farmers Market at Steam Pump Village, which features over 30 stalls and events to bring the community together.

SCHOOLS

Basis Tucson North is a tuition-free charter school for grades 5-12 that provides Stone Canyon students with a globally competitive education.
